Review: Real Sexy by Meghan March

Real Sexy AMAZONIn Nashville, country stars are a dime a dozen.

I swore I’d never get caught up with one, but Boone Thrasher made a liar out of me.

I said I’d never put my heart on the line, but he didn’t ask before he stole it.

Now we’re facing my worst fears, and we’ll see if this country boy is tough enough to see it through.

Girls like me don’t get happily ever afters… but maybe he’ll prove that wrong too.

 Review:

Happily ever afters don’t happen to women like Ripley.  Finding an incredibly sexy country star doesn’t either.  But, the minute Ripley meets Boone she knows she’s got trouble.  What she doesn’t count on is that what if what she always thought would never happened happens.  Will she believe in her happy or will she let her past and her family’s past dictate her future?

I love Meghan March.  There I said it.  Her writing and storytelling is so awesome you don’t want to put the book down until you have finished.  Even then you will have a giant book hangover and a craving for whatever guy she is writing about.  In this case, the conclusion to Ripley and Boone’s story was just right.  I loved how amongst all the drama their was still love that grew.  Boone is definitely the ideal country bad boy.  But, a bad boy you definitely wouldn’t kick out of bed.  Ripley is both equally strong and broken.  Boone ends up being the perfect man for her.  Both the romance and drama intertwine so wonderfully you forget you’re reading a book and actually feel like you’re part of the story.   No matter what book I read by the fantastic Meghan March I am never disappointed and they always get better and steamier.

Review:

Ripley swears she will never be like her mother.  No celebrity no matter who will convince her to break her rule.  That is until Boone Thrasher, the bad boy of country music, comes into her bar.  Her dormant lady parts immediately perk up.  As much as she fights it she can’t help but wanting him.  But, one time isn’t enough.  As Boone and Ripley become closer so do the paparazzi.  Can Boone and Ripley find a way to be together or will their lives crumble around them?

I love Meghan March’s books more and more.  Boone and Ripley are as steamy as it gets.  They have explosive chemistry and you truly feel connected to them.  The emotional ups and downs both of them experience will have the reader feeling them right along with them.  This is a book you cannot put down.  Meghan March is the queen of writing spunky heroines and sexy Alpha’s that every woman wants to get her hands on.  The drama along with the steamy sex will have your lady parts screaming for more Boone Thrasher.  I can’t wait for the next book in this duet.  Boone Thrasher has easily become my favorite bad boy of country music.  If you are looking for your next unputdownable read, look no further than Real Dirty.

Review: Real Good Love by Meghan March

Real duet complete series

real-good-love-amazonFrom USA Today bestselling author Meghan March comes a sexy new duet with a hero you won’t want to miss.

I’ve had my fair share of bad boys, but nothing prepared me for what it was like to be with a real good man.

Logan Brantley changed everything.

Somewhere along the way, what started as a fling became the best part of my life.

He makes me want all the things I’ve never had, like forever and happily ever after, but nothing worth having comes easily.

Everyone is betting on us to fail, but I’m ready to fight for this real good love.

Real Good Love is the conclusion of the Real Duet and should be read following Real Good Man.

Review:

Banner knows her life is no longer in New York.  The world and the men don’t attract her anymore.  She has officially fallen for the Kentucky mechanic that stole the heart she didn’t know she had.  Once she finally knows who and what she wants will tragedy step in and take everything away from her?

I loved this duet.  If you haven’t read anything by Meghan March now is the time to begin.  Banner and Logan are awesome.  I’ve always loved Banner from Greer’s books but she truly comes into her own with her steamy relationship with Logan.  It isn’t just their steamy sex scenes that make this book though.  You can really feel the love and affection between these two characters.  The theme of the story with the small town with big city problems truly gives a lot of depth to what could have been just a bunch of steamy sex scenes without much depth.  Meghan March has truly shown us what a real good man is in Logan.  I guarantee you, you will not regret picking up this duet.

Except:

I’m a woman on a mission when I step off my last flight at six o’clock at night, annoyed it took me an entire freaking day to get here since I made my plans at the last minute. As soon as I leave the rental car desk, I’m headed for my first destination. Logan’s shop.

He’s never going to know what hit him. My skirt is short, my heels are tall, and my hair, skin, and nails are perfect from the pampering I managed to sneak in this week.

I pull into the parking lot an hour and a half later, mostly because I was so busy singing along to every kick-ass female anthem on my playlist that I missed the turn and went fifteen miles in the wrong direction.

But no one needs to know that little detail.

The lights are still on, and Logan’s truck is parked in its normal spot alongside the building. No other cars remain in the lot.

I pull out my phone and switch it out of airplane mode. I told myself I kept it there all day because I was worried about the safety of my flights and obviously because of the FAA regulations, but that’s total bull.

I didn’t trust myself not to answer what must be at least a few messages from Logan. I wanted this to be a surprise. Like when Logan thought I might be pregnant, this is a discussion that needs to happen in person.

A few text messages pop up from him immediately, and they’re progressively more . . . let’s call it assertive.

My Sexy Man: Bruce, call me.

My Sexy Man: Seriously, babe. Call me.

My Sexy Man: CALL ME.

My Sexy Man: This radio silence shit will not fly. Call me, Bruce.

My Sexy Man: Banner Regent, don’t even try to dodge me. I know where you are, and I will come to you and show you how a real man handles this situation.

A smile spreads over my face. I’ve come to terms with a few things in the last twenty-four hours, and one of them is that I don’t care if I’m the first one to say those words I’ve been holding back. I love Logan Brantley, and I’m not going to let another day go by without telling him. To his face.

After I park, I slide out of the car, careful not to pull a Britney and flash anyone my vag because I’m going commando under this skirt, and strut my ass up to the entrance.

I push on the door that opens into the waiting room, but it doesn’t budge. Locked. Well, dammit, that’s not part of my plan. I bang on it, but no one comes. The beat of whatever rock song he’s listening to is thumping through the walls.

I pull my phone out of my wristlet and text him back.

Banner: Open the damn door.

A response pops up in seconds.

My Sexy Man: What door?

Banner: I’m waiting.

Review:

Who knew a text from her best friend from a number she didn’t know would lead Banner to a good man?  Banner is used to New York City men.  She has yet to meet a good man that was also a New York City man.  She has been texting Logan since her friend texted her from his phone.  When Logan agrees to meet her when he visits New York their relationship changes.  But when Banner needs a change and happens to move to where the one good man she’s met lives will she be able to change her way of thinking about relationships and learn that the good man she has is the best man for her?

I LOVED this book.  The title of this book is deceiving.  Though Logan is a good man he is also an alpha in all the sexy ways.  Banner is the perfect match for Logan.  Even if Banner is the epitome of a city girl her feelings for Logan really surprise her and her view of all of her relationships.  As the story moves along so do the characters.  They move and grow with the story which is incredibly important with a story like this.  Not to mention the sex scenes are steamy.  Logan is definitely good in all the right ways.  He will be in your dreams way after you’ve finished this story.  I can’t wait for the rest of Banner and Logan’s story.  If its anything like this one it will be sexy, steamy and fun.  Meghan March has done it again.

rgm-teaser-11

Excerpt:

Finally, fifteen minutes after we said we’d meet, Logan Brantley walks into the tapas bar. Every curse word known to woman—and several I make up on the fly—flash through my brain.

This isn’t fair. Logan Brantley is even sexier when he’s not dressed in camo and carrying a big gun. More than one head swings in his direction. Women flip their hair and uncross and re-cross their legs as he steps up to the hostess stand.

A shaft of possessiveness lights up inside me, right along with nervous energy and my pounding heart. Back off, bitches. He’s not here for you.

I hear the low rumble of his deep drawl when he speaks to the hostess. She gestures in my direction, and he turns. Piercing blue eyes find me at the table where a lone water glass sits in front of me.

Liquid courage should definitely have been on the menu. Why didn’t I order a drink?

Because I’m an idiot. Because I thought I could handle this.

Now my heart is hammering so loud, my voice will probably be inaudible, or even worse—quaver when I speak.

Logan walks toward me with long, sure strides. He’s taller than I realized. And broader. And bigger. Everywhere. He’s wearing a black Henley that stretches across his chest, leaving no doubt of the fact that the man is built. And his jeans. Jesus. They’re worn and snug in all the right places.

The picture I found was clearly not recent, and it’s not just the fact that his brown hair is longer and shaggier. He’s one of those men who age well.

Logan stops in front of me when he reaches the tall bar table. He says nothing as his gaze drops to the toes of my boots and drags up every inch of my body.

“You’re a hard woman to find.”
