Review: Twist by Kylie Scott

Dive-Bar-banner-with-Chaser

twistFrom New York Times bestselling author Kylie Scott comes the second sizzling stand-alone novel in the Dive Bar series!

When his younger brother loses interest in online dating, hot bearded bartender Joe Collins only intends to log into his account and shut it down. Until he reads about her.

Alex Parks is funny, fascinating, and pretty much everything he’s been looking for in a woman—except that she lives across the country. Soon they’re emailing up a storm and telling each other their deepest, darkest secrets…except the one that really matters.

When Alex pays Joe a surprise visit, however, they both discover that when it comes to love, it’s always better with a twist.

Review:

Alex was taking a chance.  She was going to surprise the one guy who has made an impact with her.  They have only met online but she’s has gotten to really know him.  So she thought.  When she shows up expecting one person and realizing in front of an entire bar of people that its actually his brother who has been talking to her she feels humiliated.

Joe knows he made a mistake not telling Alex he was his brother Eric.  He didn’t want to ruin everything they had.  Plus, the would never meet anyway.  Well that is all thrown out of the window when she shows up.  Can he repair his mistake and convince Alex to still be friends?  Can Alex ever forgive the guy who allowed her to humiliate herself?  If all works out will they still just be friends or will this unforseen twist turn out to be the best thing to happen to either of them?

I love Kylie Scott.  All of her books are phenomenal and this one is no different.  Alex and Joe are the perfect story with all the wrong things that happen.  Just when you think they will get a happily ever after another twist comes out of nowhere and hits you.  The wonderful mix of humor, sex and no-filter conversations makes this one heck of a memorable book.  If you are a Kylie Scott fan you will be excited to see a few familiar faces we haven’t seen in awhile.  Kylie Scott’s prowess as a terrific storyteller is solidified.  Joe and Alex’s love story, though very unconventional, will have you hooked.  You won’t be putting this book down until you are finished.

Review: Catching Carly by Emma Hart

nowavailable

Pageflex Persona [document: PRS0000035_00027]My name is Carly Porter… And I’m really good at bad decisions.

How do I know this, exactly? Well, not including the time I accidentally bleached my eyebrows or sprained my ankle changing a lightbulb…

I had sex with my best friend’s brother.

Zeke Elliott has been a thorn in my side for eleven years. A very sexy, very tempting, very freaking annoying one. With big…hands.

And now my clitoris has a crush on the guy.

Seriously. I can’t look at him without my vagina performing accidental kegels. Which would be fine, but he’s Cain’s brother. I hate him. He’s off limits, right?

Right.

Review:

Carly’s dating life is a disaster.  Every date she goes on from the dating websites ends in disaster.  It doesn’t help that after sleeping with her best friend’s brother he seems to be appearing everywhere.  Her body can’t control itself around him and her brain keeps sending messages he is a really bad idea.  But, Carly is really good at bad ideas.

I was giddy with excitment seeing that Carly and Zeke had their own book.  I thought Brooke and Cain were going to be the best couple but Carly and Zeke really give them a run for their money.  The humor and sexual tension between them will ignite the pages.  You will laugh outloud from Carly’s inner monologue that doesn’t always stay inner and Zeke’s sexy smolder will have you trolling construction sites.  Their dance to get to their happily ever after is just as fun as Brooke and Cain’s.  If you took my advice (and I know you did) and read Being Brooke you will be just as excited to get your hands on Catching Carly.

Excerpt:

I close my eyes and slip one leg out of the window.

Everybody can see my panties.

Not that anyone is here, but I just know everybody can.

This is horrible. And it hurts.

I’m never dating again.

I’m going to buy fifty cats. They’ll never make me climb out of a bathroom window.

“You’re looking at my underwear, aren’t you?” I ask, unfortunately pausing with my legs wide open.

“No.”

“Liar.”

“It’s nice underwear.”

“Oh god.” I swing my other leg down a little too quick.

My dress rides up.

Right over my ass.

And my feet can’t reach the crates.

Zeke chuckles.

“Help me, you pig!”

More laughter.

“I’m gonna be stuck here forever. Oh my god.”

The bathroom door opens.

Can this get any worse?

A fifty-something woman I don’t recognize freezes in the middle of the restroom.

I smile sweetly.

She eyes me suspiciously before shuffling into a cubicle.

“Get me down!” I hiss, kicking my legs. “Now, Ezekiel!”

Something scrapes and knocks together.

“Still so hot when you call me that. Especially when your ass is out.” Thud. “All right, sweetcheeks. I’ve got you.”

“Sweetcheeks? What is wrong with you?”

“Look, you can hang there all night bitchin’ at me if you want, but it’s not my bare ass in the middle of the alley. As much as I’m enjoying the view.”

“Oh my god,” I groan. “You swear you’ll catch me?”

“I swear.” His fingertips brush against my bare legs.

My shudder is disguised by the trembling of my arms as I lower myself down.

Zeke’s fingers trail up the outsides of my thighs until he grasps my waist. “Let go.”

I freeze, tensing up.

“Carly, let go. I have hold of you. I won’t drop you.”

Still tensed, I let go of the window ledge.

My life flashes before my eyes. Seriously. I see everything from my first memory to the moment I let go of the ledge and I squeal because I’m going to die and I know that he’s going to drop me and—

Zeke’s strong grip solidifies when he wraps his arm around my waist and holds me against him. “There,” he says calmly into my ear. “You dropped about six inches. You’re hardly cliff-diving.”

I open my eyes and look down at where his arm is pressed across my stomach. His grip is tight, and the popping veins on his forearm trace tantalizing lines across his skin.

And my dress is still around my hips.

I reach down and tug the material over my upper thighs. “Thank you.”

“You’re welcome.” He releases me, and when he jumps down from the crates, I see a flash of his cocky grin. “Nice thong.”

That explains the grin.

I clear my throat. “Thank you. It took me an hour to pick.”

“From your drawer?”

“No. From Victoria Secret. Have you seen how many panties are on that website?”

Zeke holds his hands out for me to take. “Oh, yeah. I’m wearing a pair right now.”

My lips curve slowly as I step down onto the ground. “Interesting. What type? Brief? Thong? Boy short? V-string?”

He blinks at me when I put my shoes on. “Why do you need so many different types? It’d be much easier if you just wore none at all.”

Happy Release Day for Baking and Babies by Tara Sivec

Today is finally the day we have been leading up to.  Baking and Babies by Tara Sivec is the final entry in the Chocoholics series.  This book is a fine finish with all the laughs and feels that have come with both the Chocolate Lovers and Chocoholics series’.  For my full review keep reading after the book blurb.  With this book you will be having a great start to your weekend!  If you haven’t picked up any of these you truly are missing out!

untitledBook Blurb:

“I’m pregnant.”

Molly Gilmore had a good life before she uttered those two stupid words. While preparing to graduate from culinary school and building up the courage to make a move on her hot, sugar-cookie-smelling pastry instructor Marco, she can’t wait to finally have the GREAT life she’s always dreamed about, instead of just the good one she’s been living.

Always known as the quiet ninja, she fully intends to stay hidden in the shadows with her nut-job family, so they have no chance to embarrass her around the man she’s crushed on for two years. Unfortunately, her family has other plans. When they yank her straight out of her comfort zone, she finds herself starring in the craziest train wreck she’s ever witnessed.

Molly ultimately gets a more exciting life that doesn’t revolve around school, but she’s pretty sure the man of her dreams won’t be sticking around long after her family gets ahold of him. There aren’t too many guys who can handle smelling like pee, having the whole world know how he masturbates, and being forced to eat an entire bag of dicks.

Join the Chocolate Lovers and Chocoholics gang for one final story about love, baked goods, making poor life choices, and remembering how important family is—even if they drive you insane.

Mostly because it’s illegal to kill them.

Review:

Molly has always managed to be the quiet one around her crazy family.  When she finally graduates from culinary school she is finally free to go after the one man she has been wanting to be with for the past two years.  That is until she volunteers to say she is pregnant for one of her sisters.  When Marco, her crush, over hears he volunteers to pretend to be the baby daddy.  Through this complicated charade Marco and Molly get closer and really learn things about each other and each other’s crazy families.  Learning everything from Marco’s masturbation habits, what meat sweats are and why Drew is taking a dump in the bushes.  Can Marco and Molly navigate the crazy or will it tear them apart?

I really loved Marco and Molly’s story.  I think it took all the crazy and wrapped it up in one awesome story.  I think the fact that they both had crazy families was fantastic.  Marco was the first true outsider entering the inner circle of this family.  His character fit so well it was as if he was meant to be there.  Marco’s relationship with the guys really was probably the cherry on top.  Not to mention the masturbating meerkat, puke on a penis and a ganga growing grandma.  That’s just a taste of the awesomeness of this story.  You are guaranteed to laugh out loud and possibly have a few tears at the fact that this is the last one.

Release Day Party:
I’ll be having a party all day on Friday to celebrate the release with several giveaways, including a Kindle Fire, special Baking & Babies swag, etc. This will take place on my Facebook Author Page so if you could direct people there, that would be great: https://www.facebook.com/TaraSivec.authorpage

Day Six of Chocolate Lovers and Chocoholics Celebration

Today is the last day before the release of Baking and BabiesTattoos and Tatas  is a novella in the Chocolate Lovers and Chocoholic series. This is a book that tests the friendship between Claire and Liz.  What happens when the unexpected makes you question everything in your life?  For my full review keep reading after the book blurb.

22728057Book Blurb:

During the month of October, 100% of the proceeds from Tattoos and Tatas will be donated to breast cancer awareness.

Claire and Liz have always had a friendship that defied the test of time, but when one of them is diagnosed with a disease that every woman fears, their bond is put through the wringer. How do you cope knowing your soul mate could be taken from you?

Filled with memories of their life long friendship, inappropriate behavior, bad tattoos and shaving cats, the two friends will realize that laughter really is the best medicine.

Tattoos and TaTas is not your typical love story; it’s a story of friendship and learning how to let go when something is beyond your control.

Review:

Claire and Liz have been friends since high school.  They have been through thick and thin.  All the challenges of marriage, children, their business and everything in between.  But, nothing prepares them for the big C.  This will test them more than anything.  As they work through the trials of the present, the past will be remembered.  As with all of their trials they will be met with tears, laughter and lots of inappropriate comments.

This story really hit home for me.  I have experience with the big C and know how tough all of this is.  I think this really attacks a sensitive subject with respect and humor.  It addresses how people handle things differently especially when they cant control the outcome.  I did cry at times but most of all I laughed out loud.  I loved how in the end everyone came together and were just there.  It truly shows the strength of friendship and the love between friends.  In the heart of all of these books are the friendships and how important they are.

Day Five of the Chocolate Lovers and Chocoholics Celebration

Today we get to celebrate with the second book in the Chocoholics series, Passion and Ponies.   This is one of the most fun books that Tara Sivec has written.  She explored the world of Bronies and brought into a world where most differences have the chance of being pointed out and laughed at.  That doesn’t happen…well it doesn’t happen much.  For my full review keep reading after the book blurb.

20642915Book Blurb:

Ava Gilmore has the perfect life. She’s surrounded by people who love her, she’s having sex on a regular basis and her Coach bag collection just grew by three. The problem? She’s expected to follow in her family’s footsteps at Seduction and Snacks, working with sex toys and baked goods.

Ava loves vibrators and cupcakes as much as the next person, she’d just rather play with them than sell them. With her shopping addiction reaching an all time high and her credit card bills piling up, Ava decides to put her obsession to good use and start a fashion blog. But she has one other problem – the guy she’s having sex with has a My Little Pony addiction.

While dealing with her family’s disappointment and confusion over her choices, she finds support in the unlikeliest of places – Tyler Branson. Tyler has slowly wormed his way into her bed, her a$$ and her heart and he refuses to leave. Tyler has his own family problems to deal with and for the first time ever, Ava finds herself feeling bad for the annoying, immature guy and chanting “Friendship is magic!” during the sex she’d swore to stop having with him.

Review:

Ava’s fling with Tyler was only supposed to be just that.  How could she want to be with a man obsessed with animated ponies?  Aside from her confusion with Tyler she is having a major crisis with her job.  She works for her mom’s company but hates it.  So, between her figuring out what she really wants to do, having hot sex with Tyler and trying to figure out their crazy relationship she is one busy girl.  Soon things change, when Tyler is given some life altering information she finds herself being the one to comfort him and she wouldn’t want it any other way.  Can Ava and Tyler find a way to balance each other’s needs or will it fall apart?

I really loved seeing Ava and Tyler’s relationship grow.  It was a really fun part of Gavin’s story but it really grew into something great.  You really saw how they brought the best out of each other.  I know this sounds a lot sappier than the other books but it certainly isn’t.  All the humor of the rest of the books is found in this.  In fact, Tyler is a lot like Drew.  You would almost think they shared one brain.  Along with the requisite humor is some really steamy sex including accidental anal (don’t worry you’ll understand)  and MLP dress up.  This was definitely one of the most unique books in either of the series’.  You will love the mix of laughter and heart.

Day Four of the Chocolate Lovers and Chocoholics Celebration

Today we are celebrating with the first in the Chocoholics series, Love & Lists.  This is the first in the spinoff from the Chocolate Lovers series.  We get to see how Claire, Carter, Liz, Jim, Jenny and Drew’s kids have grown up.  This book focuses on Gavin and Charlotte.  The two have grown up together but never had the guts to tell each other how they feel.  For my full review keep reading after the book blurb.  Be sure to come back tomorrow for more Chocoholics!

18300604Book Blurb:

Twenty-five-year-old Gavin Ellis has always had the love and support of his family ever since he was a little boy and couldn’t stop talking about his penis. He’s also always had their unsolicited advice and uncanny knack of embarrassing him at all costs. Now that he’s an adult and trying to convince the love of his life to love him back, things haven’t changed very much from when he was younger.

When Gavin’s best friend Tyler suggests he make a to-do list of items that will ensure he wins the girl, Gavin is one-hundred-percent on board: after a few six packs.

After puking in the shrubs, a bad experience with Viagra, a Sex-Ed course gone wrong, and a slew of other mishaps courtesy of his family and friends, Gavin is pretty sure this list will be the death of him.

Sometimes, trying to make someone love you with a list isn’t always the best idea. Especially when “Show her your penis” is the first “to-do” item

Review:

Gavin, the little boy who couldn’t stop cursing and talking about his penis, has grown up and become very successful working for his mom and Aunt Liz’s company.  The one thing missing in his life is love.  His heart has always belonged to Charlotte, his Aunt Liz and Uncle Jim’s daughter.  Gavin and his friend, Tyler, decide that he is going to make a list and make Charlotte fall in love with him.  The list goes from buying her lingerie, showing her his penis and many other inappropriate things that Tyler insists upon.  Gavin soon learns that the best things happen once the list is thrown out the window and his way too open best friend is ignored.

I loved this book.  It is reminiscent to the first Seduction and Snacks book.  Gavin though different from his parents still has the same pinache as a combination of Claire and Carter.  The love story between Charlotte and Gavin is very sweet.  Well, not just sweet but also pretty awkward at times.  This is especially true when Charlotte decides to seduce Gavin with mustard.  Its hilarious but sweet too.  One of the best parts of this book is the introduction of Charlotte, her sisters and Tyler.  I couldn’t ask for better supporting characters that fit so well in a world built on inappropriate sharing, sex toys and naked times that should never be shared.  This was a great addition to the Chocolate Lovers world.

Day Three of Chocolate Lovers and Chocoholics Celebration

Today we are celebrating with the third book in the Chocolate Lovers series, Troubles and Treats.  This book centers around Jenny and Drew.  Throughout their relationship the one department they have never had trouble in is the bedroom.  Now that they have two kids that has changed.  All Drew wants is his old sex kitten of a wife back and all Jenny wants is some sleep.  For my full review keep reading after the book blurb.  Have an awesome week ahead and be sure to keep coming back because we will have plenty more for our celebration.

23016369Book Blurb:

Drew and Jenny have spent years being the envy of their friends with their out of control sex lives – well, not really. Mostly it makes their friends want to throw up in their mouths a little.

With two little kids and two busy lives, for the first time, Drew and Jenny aren’t on the same page in the bedroom. Drew will stop at nothing to get his previously amorous wife back in the sack, and Jenny will do anything for a full night of sleep.

Carter and Claire, and Jim and Liz are their usual (un)helpful selves and are full of advice for the discontented duo, wanting nothing more than to help restore order to the usually happy couple’s lives.

In the third and final installment of the Chocolate Lovers Series, will Drew and Jenny find the spark that’s been missing in their marriage, or will the trouble they’re having cause a stickier situation than the time Jenny poured honey all over Drew and he fused himself to a tree?

Review:

Drew and Jenny’s crazy sex life has become non-existent since their second child was born.  Drew is determined to remind Jenny what they were like and go back to it.  Jenny just wants sleep and some help around the house.  When they go to their friends for help they offer advice but most of it is unhelpful for the couple who has done it all and a lot more in and out of the bedroom.  Can Drew finally get the point and help Jenny and will Jenny be able to find her way back to their very non-vanilla sex?

I love Drew and Jenny.  All of the characters in this series are unique and quite awesome, but Drew and Jenny take the cake.  With their outlandish stories, inappropriate behavior and Jenny’s inability to know most of the English language puts them in a category all to themselves.  I found that this book brought them to a more relatable level.  Most people aren’t going to have the sex that they have but in this book the issues the married with children couple have are incredibly relatable and common.  I loved how that though their issues became attainable it didn’t change how they approached things.  They were still the same old crazy Drew and Jenny.  This is another laugh out loud story that just makes me want to take Tara Sivec out to a bar and have outlandish conversations with her.

Day Two of our Celebration for Chocolate Lovers and Chocoholics!

Day Two of our countdown is a review of the second book in the Chocolate Lovers series, Futures and Frostings.  This is a continuation of Claire and Carters new life together.  We dive further into their crazy life full of their wacky friends, inappropriate son and full of insults that make fun of anyone.  For my full review keep reading after the book blurb.  Have a fantastic Sunday!

23016364Book Blurb:

Carter, Claire and Gavin have formed the perfect little family. Their friends are getting married and everyone is growing up, maturing and ready to face the future. Or are they?

From bachelorette party hell, porn addictions, dinner roll baseball and botched wedding proposals to finding out everyone’s extended family is chock full of crazy, Carter and Claire begin to question the strength of the ties that bind them. Unfortunately, these ties have nothing to do with fuzzy handcuffs and everything to do with the mounting differences between them.

Will their friends make a mess of things with their inappropriate comments and need to know everything, or will they convince the couple that happily-ever-after sometimes really can start with beer pong?

Review:

Claire and Carter’s story continues with the success of Liz and Claire’s business.  With this success comes more complications like living with your boyfriend and pretending that you aren’t interested in getting married all the while secretly watching every wedding reality show you can get your hands on.  This is one of Claire’s many predicaments.  Liz, Claire and Jenny must juggle the changes in their lives that are now filled with more craziness, possible porn addictions, texting your boobs to the wrong guy, dinner roll baseball, lots of “telephone calls” and inappropriate goings on in a sex toy shop.  Can they find their way even when things started out with drunken beer pong?

This is just what every Chocolate Lover fan wanted, a continuation of the crazy people from Seduction and Snacks.  Claire and Carter are even more awesome in this book.  Finding their way through all the craziness, inappropriate comments and way too much information about Drew and Jenny’s sex life.  This is another laugh out loud story.  We really get to know all of them much better.  I really enjoyed the guy time in this book.  I think they just keep getting funnier and I truly didn’t think that was possible.  They must share one brain and I guarantee Liz and Claire would agree with me.  This book continues to show Tara Sivec’s extraordinary talent for making up inappropriate sexual terms, colorful names and wrap them up in a story that pulls you in and makes you feel like the characters are your friends too.  This is what makes her AWESOME!!!  Just another reason to pick up everything she writes even if it may just be a grocery list on a post-it.

A Week of Celebration for Chocoholics and Chocolate Lovers!

Today I am starting a week of celebration leading up to the release day for Tara Sivec’s final book in her spinoff series, Chocoholics.  I have been an uber fan of hers ever since I picked up my first copy of Seduction and Snacks.  I have read all of these books multiple times and have quoted them to friends many times over.  But, I have never reviewed them.  So, starting today I will have a review of one of her books in these two series’ until Friday, October 30th when we will celebrate with champagne, cupcakes and tears her final book of this series, Baking & Babies.   Today though we will start at the beginning with Seduction and Snacks!  In this book we meet the most awesome bitches (total compliment) I have ever had the pleasure reading about.  Be sure to keep reading for my full review after the book blurb.  Come back every day to keep the celebration going!

23016317Book Blurb:

Claire is a twenty-something, single mom that grudgingly helps her best friend sell sex toys while she attempts to make enough money to start her own business to give her foul-mouthed, but extremely loveable (when he’s asleep) toddler a better life.

When Carter, the one-night-stand from her past that changed her life forever, shows up in her hometown bar without any recollection of her besides her unique chocolate scent, Claire will make it a point that he remembers her this time.

With Carter’s undisguised shock at suddenly finding out he has a four-year-old son and Claire’s panic that her stretch marks and slim to none bedroom experience will send the man of her dreams heading for the hills, the pair will do whatever they can to get their happily ever after.

Warning: contains explicit sex, profanity and enough sarcasm to choke a horse.

Review:

Claire did the one thing she swore she’d never do…have a kid.  She despised kids, but now she has one thanks to a drunken night where virginity was lost and the guy’s name never gotten.  While Claire had to drop out of college and work at a bar to support herself and her kid, her best friend has been plotting how they two of them could make their dreams come true and run a business together.  After a lot of pushing, Claire agrees to help Liz with her start up business.  What she doesn’t realize is that its selling sex toys.  When Claire has an embarrassing sex toy party and goes to work after what she doesn’t expect is to run into the one man that changed her life forever….her baby’s daddy.  From here Claire’s life takes one crazy turn after another.  Its full of a potty mouthed four year old, baking her favorite goodies, sex toys, crazy friends and one hot man that she doesn’t want to keep her hands, mouth or her vagina off of him.

This book was the one that got me hooked.  I literally laughed out loud so many times people probably thought I was nuts.  The characters are so real, especially Claire’s son Gavin.   When he is saying inappropriate things he reminds me of my son and the crazy things that continually come out of his mouth.   The relationship between her and LIz is enviable.  I think every woman wants to have that person.  That person who would be in jail with you saying we have to do that again.  This was the beginning of a great series that just keeps getting better, but I am not going to spill anything else from the other books…yet.  I think the best way to describe this book is…”fuck me gently with a chainsaw”  :).  Yes, I just totally stole that quote from this book!

Review: Losing It by Cora Carmack

Happy almost weekend to you!  Today I am bringing to you a wonder of a book.  This novel has a wonderful humor and truth that I think any woman who has been awkward even once in her life will relate to.  Losing It will have you laughing out loud, cringing and swooning all within pages of each other.  For my full review keep reading after the book blurb.

9780062273246_p0_v3_s260x420Book Blurb:

Sick of being the only virgin among her friends, Bliss Edwards decides the best way to deal with the problem is to lose it as quickly and simply as possible – a one-night stand. But her plan turns out to be anything but simple when she freaks out and leaves a gorgeous guy alone and naked in her bed with an excuse that no one with half-a-brain would ever believe. And as if that weren’t embarrassing enough, when she arrives for her first class of her last college semester, she recognizes her new theatre professor. She’d left him naked in her bed about 8 hours earlier.

Review:

Bliss decides tonight is the night.  She let’s her friend, Kelsey, talk her into losing her virginity.  She just has to find the right guy.  The guy who makes her feel like she wants to have sex.  After entering the bar, she realizes it is going to be much harder than she thinks.  That is until an unassuming guy reading Shakespeare catches her eye.  When she meets Garrick she knows he is going to be the one she loses it to.  But, after a comedy of awkward errors she finds herself running out of her own apartment, half-dressed, picking up an imaginary cat she doesn’t own and leaving a naked man in her apartment.  After waiting an eternity for him to leave she goes back home and hopes she can wipe the night and her fiasco out of her mind.  Unfortunately, that is easier said than done when she shows up to her class to find that the man she just saw naked only a few hours in her apartment is now standing in front of her class as her new professor.  Both are astonished but still find themselves drawn to each other.  Though it’s a dangerous situation and both try to move on it proves to be more challenging than either expects.  Can they avoid each other or will they finally accept that no matter what their hearts are drawn to each other and there is no way to avoid it?

I adored this book.  Bliss is completely relatable and honest.  Her feelings for Garrick are so strong you feel them jump right off the page and effect every word you read.  This story really brought me back to my college days.  The crazy things we did and the hilarious things that happen when you do dumb things.  The feeling of college love and how your heart gets broken even when you desperately try to protect it.  Yes, this story makes you feel all of this and you will fall completely in love with Cora Carmack’s characters.  Especially the sexy guys and those with British accents included.  Cora Carmack has such a talent for making the reader really enter her story.  I fell in this story and didn’t want to leave.  I eventually reluctantly put the book down only after reading every last word.  Overall, any romcom lover will adore this book and quickly become a fan of Cora Carmack.  I know she has now gotten a new fan to her fan club in me!
