Review: A Helluva Holiday by Jerrie Alexander

Welcome to another week closer to Christmas!  Hahaha…I can already hear the boos.  To offset the pain of Christmas coming to fast and everyone having too little time, I am bringing to you a holiday with the boys from Lost and Found Inc.  A Helluva Holiday gives us chance to catch up with Nate and the boys with a mystery that needs to be solved before Christmas comes.  For my full review, keep reading after the book blurb.  Have a wonderful week ahead!

Nate Wolfe places the Lost and Found, Inc. team’s Christmas reunion on hold when a Navy buddy needs help.

Clay Hudson and Carol Penny have loved each other since high school. Time and circumstances placed them far apart over the years but now they’re back home, during the worst cold weather Eden Rock, Texas has ever experienced. Clay’s a successful vet and Carol’s just been fired from her TV anchor job. She’s come home to help her sister sell the family horse ranch, but when she discovers the buyer is actually a Mexican drug lord, she changes her mind.

The cartel won’t take no for an answer, so Clay steps in to protect Carol, and calls in his old friend from Lost and Found, Inc. The team will fight freezing weather, a freak snowstorm, and a ruthless killer to discover why this piece of property so important. Can the Lost and Found team unravel this puzzle in time to be home for the holiday? Will Carol and Clay learn old love can be new again?

Review:

Carol is returning home after being fired and to sign the family ranch over to a buyer.  What she doesn’t expect to see is Clay.  Clay is the vet in town and Carol’s former love.  Just as Carol and Clay begin to have a warm reunion, danger comes along with threats and violence against their horses.  Clay calls in Nate and his boys to help keep Carol and her sister safe along with figuring out who is trying to hurt them.  Can Nate and Lost and Found Inc keep everyone safe?  Will Clay and Carol take the leap and find their love they once lost?

I have forgotten how much I’ve missed those sexy Lost and Found men.  Clay fits in with them.  Though he isn’t one of the investigators he is one hot vet.  Carol is also a very feisty woman that fits well with Clay.  The romance and mystery were done so well for this novella.  You will forget that this is actually a Christmas novella.  Clearly danger and the Lost and Found Inc men don’t stop just for a holiday.  In fact, they bring their wife and child with them.  If you are like me and have been missing these very sexy men you will want to pick this up.  I hope we get to see more of these hot guys.  Hint…Hint…Dalton and Tank need their HEA’s.
