When Katherine LaFlamme is summoned home by her father, the Alpha of the North American wolf pack, she drops everything and answers the call. Despite her desire to experience the human world before she settles down, Katherine is fiercely loyal and, as her parent’s first born and the pack’s best tracker, she’s an essential part of the family.

There’s trouble at home; a hunter has invaded their territory and murdered several of their kind and a rogue wolf has been stalking the female members of the LaFlamme family. To make matters worse, a secondary claim to the Alphaship of North America has risen, setting the entire pack on edge.

Then Katherine meets a mysterious wolf named Quinn and things begin to get interesting… and very deadly. Katherine and Quinn are swept up in a puzzle of ancient rites, prophecies, and mythic lore which reveals that there’s more to both Quinn and Katherine than first meets the eye.

Review:

When Katherine is summoned home by her father she knows its serious.  Upon arriving she feels someone watching her.  Though she doesn’t know who she just ignores it.  But, when Katherine goes after a stalker of the pack and a hunter she meets a mysterious wolf that she is instantly connected to.  Can Katherine figure our the threats to her pack, who the mysterious wolf is to her and if the prophecies are true?

This was an entertaining and exciting story that takes the reader through prophecies and lore of a werewolf pack.  Katherine was a very fun and sexy character.  Though she is not able to be an alpha she has the ability to be one and that shows throughout the story.  Quinn was a very sexy addition.  Quinn and Katherine’s interactions really draw the reader in and steam up the story.  That’s not to mention the short period where there is a third in their love story.  This paranormal romance had just the right amount of excitement, suspense and steamy sexiness.  If your looking for your next paranormal read you will want to pick this story up as soon as possible.
