Review: Say My Name by J. Kenner

I have a great novel for you today.  It is an enthralling and erotic novel by J. Kenner.  Say My Name is definitely a page turner that won’t let you go until the very end.  Even then you will want more.  For my complete review keep reading after the book blurb.  I hope you all have a wonderful week ahead.

New York Times bestselling author J. Kenner kicks off a smoking hot, emotionally compelling new trilogy that returns to the world of her beloved Stark novels: Release Me, Claim Me, and Complete Me. Say My Name features Jackson Steele, a strong-willed man who goes after what he wants, and Sylvia Brooks, a disciplined woman who’s hard to get—and exactly who Jackson needs.

I never let anyone get too close—but he’s the only man who’s ever made me feel alive.

Meeting Jackson Steele was a shock to my senses. Confident and commanding, he could take charge of any room . . . or any woman. And Jackson wanted me. The mere sight of him took my breath away, and his touch made me break all my rules.

Our bond was immediate, our passion untamed. I wanted to surrender completely to his kiss, but I couldn’t risk his knowing the truth about my past. Yet Jackson carried secrets too, and in our desire we found our escape, pushing our boundaries as far as they could go.

Learning to trust is never easy. In my mind, I knew I should run. But in my heart, I never felt a fire this strong—and it could either save me or scorch me forever.

Review:

Olivia is finally given a chance to move ahead in her career.  Unfortunately, a huge obstacle halts her progress on her career.  She must step back into her past with a  man who she lost her heart to years ago.  She knows it will be painful on both of them just for her to ask for help.  She hopes that she will be able to convince him.

Jackson Steele is floored when he sees Olivia again.  When she asks him for help he finds he is given an opportunity for her to feel the same kind of pain she caused him.  But as his plan to may her pay works he also realizes causing her pain is the last thing he wants.  He wants so much more and none of that is pain.  But, both Olivia and Jackson have tortured pasts.  Can they move forward together or will their lives be torn apart by lies and suspicion.

I adored this book.  I can’t wait for the next one in this series.  J. Kenner’s storytelling is captivating and steamy.  She manages to take a suspenseful story and weave sexual tension that turns into erotic entanglements.  Olivia and Jackson are two characters that you grow to understand even with a shroud of mystery still hanging over them in the end of this first book.  You think you understand but questions still linger.  I truly can’t wait for book two.  I am now hooked on Olivia and Jackson and will be until I uncover their mysteries.  Overall, I think anyone who has loved the Crossfire series will adore J. Kenner’s Say My Name.

Say My Name is intended for mature audiences.
